Gregory Pepper

Innovation Designer
Photographer, Learner

I have over 4 years of experience in global entrepreneurial ecosystems, designing programs for entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability. I’m currently leading the UNLEASH+ pre-acceleration program, to help teams further develop solutions to address the SDGs, and ultimately support them in making scaled impact.

In 2018, I co-founded Ginger & Pepper, an innovation & design agency based in Geneva, Switzerland, and Shenzhen, China. We design and implement new products and services, and create innovation programs to support students, individuals, and organisations to innovate for good.

Between April and November 2016 I ran Seedspace Global, building a network of tech hubs & co-working spaces in more than 20 countries worldwide.

In the previous year with Seedstars World, I worked in 14 countries around Africa to identify, support and connect high-potential tech entrepreneurs. We successfully fund-raised and organised international summits, pitch competitions, entrepreneur bootcamps, meet-ups and workshops uniting some of the brightest minds in Africa.

Through these experiences, I discovered and worked in many innovation ecosystems around the world. I have also gathered a considerable amount of knowledge about the African, Chinese and Swiss innovation scenes.

I have obtained an MSc & MA in Global Innovation Design, a double Master’s in Science and Art at Imperial College and the Royal College of Art in London, Tsinghua University in Beijing and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

My passion for sustainability, innovation and human potential pushed me to gather a better understanding of global challenges – and opportunities. I have a strong belief that small groups of positive change makers can lead the planet and humanity to a brighter future.

I’m also a part-time photographer, designer, and sportsman. If you want to learn more about any of these, please feel free to reach out: gp@unleash.org.
